High Salary C

Anthony Davis-New Orleans Pelicans (10,500): There’s no doubt that Davis can carry your DFS team on any given night, and he comes in cheaper than the other megastars tonight. However, he definitely is an injury risk (even in DFS which is saying something), but he’s coming off a huge game on Sunday when he had 36-17-3 with two blocks and three steals for 70.75 fantasy points to remind us all of how good he can be. Davis looked fully healthy on Sunday, and if he has the same form tonight he’ll be a good investment even though his salary is still five-figures.∗∗∗

Mason Plumlee-Portland Trail Blazers (6,500): Plumlee has been on the rise for the Blazers and his price is climbing too. He has at least 33 fantasy points in five straight games including an impressive 19-13-3 for 46.75 fantasy points against the Lakers. He has six straight double-doubles coming into tonight’s game against Charlotte, and is a really nice play at under 7K.∗∗∗

Marcin Gortat-Washington Wizards (5,800): Gortat is worth a look at under 6K since he is in a good matchup against New York who has allowed the seventh-most fantasy points per game in the NBA to opposing centers. Gortat has over 35 fantasy points in each of his last two games and had 34.25 fantasy points against the Knicks in their last meeting. Gortat is a nice mid-range play at center if you can’t afford to grab Plumlee or spend big on Boogie or the Brow.
