High Value PG

Brandon Jennings-New York Knicks (5,600): The Knicks numbers in their last game were all artificially inflated due to their quadruple-overtime loss. Jennings got the start and played a massive 53 minutes totaling 39.1 fantasy points on 18-3-11. Even without the extra time, though, Jennings has proven he can produce when given the chance to start. He is expected to get the nod again tonight with D-Rose battling an ankle injury. Jennings likely won’t play 53 minutes but should get at least 30 which is enough to make him a solid mid-range play with good upside against Washington.∗∗∗

Jameer Nelson-Denver Nuggets (5,100): Nelson is expected to get the nod for the Nuggets if Emmanuel Mudiay is out tonight (questionable-back). Nelson has been playing well in place of his younger teammate and hast over 28 fantasy points in each of his last three games. Two of those games did come in a good matchup against the Suns, but the Lakers are even worse at limiting opposing PG. Nelson should be a strong play if he gets the start against LA, but if Mudiay returns he becomes too high-risk. There’s also a chance that Denver is without its other PG since Jamal Murray missed practice yesterday due to illness. If both Murray and Mudiay are out, there will be lots of minutes for Nelson to absorb. With Mudiay-∗ No Mudiay-

Tony Parker-San Antonio Spurs (4,600): The Spurs and Thunder are meeting for the first time this season tonight in San Antonio. Parker is just working his way back to 100% after missing four games with a foot injury. He looked good on Sunday against Dallas totaling 16-0-4 for 21 fantasy points. He had 20 fantasy points or more in nine of his previous ten games before the injury and looked ready to return to his spot in our FanDuel daily picks as a solid sub-5K play.

Patty Mills-San Antonio Spurs (3,900): Since there are so many options at the top of the salary structure, the options at the bottom get a little thin. Mills is the best ultra-cheap play tonight even though Parker is back to take the lion’s share of the minutes at PG. Mills has played at least 22 minutes off the bench in each of the games since Parker’s return, though, with at least 17 fantasy points in four of his last five overall. Mills is a high-risk play, but he could get some extra run if Parker struggles defending Westbrook.
