FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup-January 31
High Salary PF
Anthony Davis-New Orleans Pelicans (11,200): There’s no doubt that Davis can carry your DFS team on any give night. However, he definitely is an injury risk (even in DFS which is saying something), but he’s coming off a huge game on Sunday when he had 36-17-3 with two blocks and three steals for 64.9 fantasy points to remind us all of how good he can be. Davis looked fully healthy on Sunday, and if he has the same form tonight he’ll be a good investment even at over 11K.∗∗∗
Markieff Morris-Washington Wizards (6,900): Morris has been very productive for the Wizards on their recent run which has seen them win eight of their last nine games. Morris has at least 31 fantasy points in nine of his last 12 games including his 21-8-1 against the Pelicans on Sunday when he had 32.1 fantasy points. He has only reached 40 fantasy points once in his last seven games, but he has a pretty high floor to go with his low ceiling tonight. Morris had 14-6-4 or 28.2 fantasy points last time he faced New York, but if he can improve on that a little he’ll be a solid buy tonight.∗∗∗
Kenneth Faried-Denver Nuggets (6,600): Faried joins the rest of the Nuggets as good plays tonight since the Lakers are giving up the most fantasy points per game in the NBA to opposing PF this season. Faried is officially probable for tonight and is expected to play through his hamstring injury. “The Manimal” wasn’t slowed by it at all on Saturday when he had 21-13-2 with two blocks and two steals against the Suns for a massive 47.6 fantasy points. He should get more work again tonight with no Nikola Jokic available. Faried makes a good play in this matchup and as long as he gets his minutes I like him a lot at this price.∗∗∗∗
