DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup-February 1
High Salary SG
Jimmy Butler-Chicago Bulls (8,800): January was a rough month for the Bulls in general and Jimmy Butler specifically. However, Butler closed it out in style with 28-8-7 and 55 fantasy points against the Sixers last Sunday. He has four games with at least 55 fantasy points in his last nine games, and he has over 40 fantasy points in seven of those games. He was a brutal 1-13 agains the Heat for just 10.25 on 3-3-2 last Friday, but he bounced back nicely against Philly. Tonight, he should be ready to go toe-to-toe with Russell Westbrook in what should be a fun game to watch in OKC. Another few factors in Butler’s favor– Kawhi Leonard ripped up the Thunder SF defense last night in San Antonio and Butler should be well rested after not playing since his big game Sunday.∗∗∗∗
Nicolas Batum-Charlotte Hornets (7,300): Batum has been incredibly consistent for most of the season for the Hornets turning in good and balanced lines almost every night next to Kemba Walker in the backcourt. Batum had a very typical 18-8-6 for 37 fantasy points last night against the Blazers and now has at least 35 fantasy points in four straight and seven of his last nine. He had exactly 35 fantasy points last week against the Warriors on 16-6-8 in 38 minutes. As long as the Hornets can keep tonight’s game relatively close, Batum should be at 30+ fantasy points with the potential for more as he plays big minutes.∗∗∗
Devin Booker-Phoenix Suns (7,000): Booker has 20 points or more in each of his last 13 games and has at least 30 fantasy points in ten of his last 11. The last game he scored fewer than 20 points was against the Clippers back on January 2 when he had just 13-1-2. He’ll face LA again tonight (this time in Phoenix), and try to keep his streak going while adding in some more non-scoring numbers to jump to truly-elite status.∗∗
Klay Thompson-Golden State Warriors (6,3\800): On Sunday when the Warriors were without Steph Curry of the first time this season, Klay stepped up with 27-6-2 for 43.5 fantasy points against the Blazers. Whenever Curry is out, the extra usage makes Thompson a must-play, but the Warriors will probably get their star PG back tonight. If Curry returns as expected, Thompson will be back to his normal role which makes him a little boom-or-bust but always with high upside. With Curry-∗∗ No Curry-∗∗∗∗
