DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup-February 1
High Value PF
Kenneth Faried-Denver Nuggets (5,700): “The Manimal” is back! At least for the last few games, we’ve gotten vintage Faried while helping to fill in for Nikola Jokic. In his last two games, Faried has a pair of double-doubles with 21-13-2 for 49.75 fantasy points against the Suns and 14-17-1 for 41.75 fantasy points against the Lakers. Tonight, the matchup gets much tougher as he takes on the Grizzlies while playing the second night of a back-to-back. Still, his form carries the day and makes him a good play as long as Jokic is still sidelined as expected. No Jokic-∗∗∗∗ Jokic returns-∗∗
Marvin Williams-Charlotte Hornets (4,900): Williams had 29.25 fantasy points on 14-5-2 against the Warriors last week and has at least 22 fantasy points in seven of his last nine. He has scored in double-digits in five straight and is starting to find a little bit of rhythm. The possibility of a blowout makes him risky tonight, but if Charlotte keeps the Warriors close, he’ll be a good value play.∗∗
Dario Saric-Philadelphia 76ers (4,400): Saric is a solid pick tonight with Robert Covington joining Joel Embiid on the sidelines for Phily. Saric is coming off of 17-5-6 and 32.25 fantasy points against the Kings on Monday. It was his third game over his last nine with at least 30 fantasy points while he has at least 20 fantasy points in six of those contests.∗∗∗
Channing Frye-Cleveland Cavaliers (4,000): Frye played only 19 minutes on Monday even with Kevin Love out. He did manage to produce 13-7-0 with two blocks for 26.25 fantasy points. Tonight, Love is out again, and the Cavs have already announced that Frye will move into the starting lineup. He has huge upside tonight against the T-Wolves and is a great 4K play so you have money to invest elsewhere.∗∗∗
