FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup-February 1
High Value PG
Austin Rivers-Los Angeles Clippers (5,800): Rivers has been steady while filling in for Christ Paul although he hasn’t had the total breakout some were hoping for. He has double-digit points in nine of his last ten games with at least 24 fantasy points in eight of those contests. Rivers gets a good matchup in Phoenix tonight, but he has only reached 30 fantasy points once in his last eight games, so there is limited upside despite his increased role.∗∗
Brandon Jennings-New York Knicks (5,600): The Knicks take on the Nets who have allowed the most fantasy points in the NBA this season to opposing PG. Jennings is expected to start again in place of the injured Derrick Rose and has posed 39.1 fantasy points (18-3-11) and 34 fantasy points (21-5-2) in his last two games while filling in. With this matchup, Jennings has too much upside to pass up even in a field with thi many options.∗∗∗∗∗
Yogi Ferrell-Dallas Mavericks (4,900): Ferrell is another new starter to consider for tonight after he jumped right in to the Mavericks’ lineup and produced two strong games against the Spurs (9-2-7, 25.9 fantasy points) and the Cavs (19-5-3, 35.5 fantasy points). Ferrell could get head back to the bench if Deron Williams returns, but he should have earned enough playing time to still be an option. With Williams-∗ No Williams-∗∗∗
Matthew Dellavedova-Milwauke Bucks (4,200): Delly has at least 16 fantasy points in each of his five games since returning to the Bucks’ starting five and has over 24 fantasy points in three of those games including his most recent game which was last Saturday against Boston when he had 14-3-6 for 24.6 fantasy points. Dellavedova doesn’t have an ultra-high ceiling, but he will almost certainly not go totally bust even though his price is very affordable as he and Milwaukee head to Utah.∗∗
Spencer Dinwiddie-Brooklyn Nets (3,900): Dinwiddie is the cheapest starting PG on the board tonight and is coming into tonight’s game against New York with ten points or more in five straight games and six of his last seven. Dinwiddie has 19 fantasy points or more in four of his last five and makes a decent play if you are spending big at other spots.∗∗
