FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup-February 1
High Salary PF
Anthony Davis-New Orleans Pelicans (11,200): Davis has played 40 minutes in each of the Pelicans last two games and has posted 64.9 and 50.9 fantasy points against the Wizards and Raptors. As the Pelicans continue their swing through the Eastern Conference Davis will face Detroit tonight. Fatigue could be a factor, but he has shown he is back to being healthy and still has ability to carry your DFS team on any given night. Watching him and Andre Drummond go head-to-head tonight should be fun.∗∗
Draymond Green-Golden State Warriors (7,300): Green’s price is dropping after being held under 26 fantasy points in four of his last five contests. The one game where he had good numbers, though, did come against the Hornets who he faces again tonight He had 13-4-6 for 36.8 fantasy points in that game against Charlotte last week, and I could definitely see him posting a similar line at home tonight if the game doesn’t turn into a blowout.∗∗
Kenneth Faried-Denver Nuggets (6,900): “The Manimal” has returned over Faried’s last few games and he has stepped up for Denver especially while Nikola Jokic has been sidelined. In his last two games, Faried has a pair of double-doubles with 21-13-2 for 47.6 fantasy points against the Suns and 14-17-1 for 38.9 fantasy points against the Lakers. He will be playing for the second night in a row and in a tricky matchup with Memphis, but since he’s more involved with Jokic out I still think he’s a good play. If Jokic returns tonight which would surprise me, Faried’s value will drop, but I expect him to help fill in again tonight. No Jokic-∗∗∗∗ Jokic returns-∗∗
Zach Randolph-Memphis Grizzlies (6,300): Randolph has six six straight games in double figures after his 18-6-0 for 25.2 fantasy points against the Suns on Sunday. He has at least that many fantasy points in five of his last six games including big games against the Blazers (17-13-3, 38.1 fantasy points) and Jazz (28-9-1, 41.3 fantasy points). Playing at altitude and with JaMychal Green available could result in limited minutes, but Randolph has more in the tank than many expected.∗∗
Nerlens Noel-Philadelphia 76ers (6,200): Another big man getting extra run lately has been the Sixers’ Nerlens Noel who has helped fill in for the absence of Joel Embiid by both starting or coming of the bench behind Jahlil Okafor. Noel has scored at least 12 points in four of his last five games and has 32+ fantasy points in three of those six contests. He’ll get a tough matchup tonight against the Mavericks, but he’s been playing well enough lately that I still think he’s slightly safer than Randolph.∗∗∗
