High Salary PG

John Wall-Washington Wizards (10,400): In the first game of the night, Wall is in an awesome matchup against the Lakers who have been the fourth-worst team in the NBA at limiting opposing PG fantasy points. Wall is extremely consistent with at least 38 fantasy points in 12 straight games, but to be worth 10K+ he’ll have to bring more than that. He has only reached 50 fantasy points two times in his last six games and hasn’t been over 55 in any of those six contests. He is coming off a pair of strong  double-doubles of 18-1-19 and 15-4-13 (points-rebounds-assists) for 40.5 fantasy points and 53.75 fantasy points, but with the risk of a blowout and his pricetage being a little high I’m only in on Wall a little bit tonight.

Stephen Curry-Golden State Warriors (8,700): One of the reasons that Wall’s price looks too high is that Curry is almost 2K cheaper and coming off of back-to-back games with 66.75 and 68.25 fantasy points. He exploded against Charlotte last night posting huge numbers in just 30 minutes while sitting the entire fourth quarter. Curry shot 14-20 from the field and 11-15 from long-distance on his way to 39-5-8 and 38.25 fantasy points. Tonight, he’ll take on the Clippers  who still don’t have Chris Paul and who Curry has a history of tormenting. When the teams met last Saturday, Curry posted his 66.75 fantasy points on 43-9-6 and I think he’s the best big-money PG play tonight as a result.∗∗∗

Austin Rivers-Los Angeles Clippers (6,400): Rivers has been getting plenty of playing time and usage while Chris Paul has been out, but he hasn’t broken out despite some consistency. He has at least 23 fantasy points in each of his last eight games, but he has only had more than 30 fantasy points once during that run. His lowest fantasy points total over that timespan came against the Warriors when he had 10-2-6 last Saturday.
