High Salary PG

John Wall-Washington Wizards (10,800): Wall and the Wiz get a great matchup against the Lakers who have been the seventh-worst team in the NBA at limiting opposing PG fantasy points. Wall has at least 35 fantasy points in 12 straight games, but to be worth 10K+ he’ll have to bring more than that. He has only reached 50 fantasy points once in his last six games ant that was only 50.7 fantasy points on 18-1-19 (points-rebounds-assists) against the Pelicans. Wall definitely has the potential to go huge and probably won’t leave you totally empty, but I see him as over-priced tonight.

Stephen Curry-Golden State Warriors (9,600): If you’re going tos pend big on a PG, Curry is a better option at over 1,000 cheaper. Wall hasn’t had 60 fantasy points in any of his last 17 games, and Curry has had over 60 fantasy points in each of his last two. He came back after missing a game with the flu to light up the Hornets last night going 14-20 from the field and 11-15 from long-distance on his way to 39-5-8 and 62 fantasy points. He’ll take on the Clippers tonight who don’t have Chris Paul, and who Curry has a history of tormenting. When the teams met last Saturday, Curry posted 60.8 fantasy points on 43-9-6 and I think he’s the best big-money PG play tonight as a result.

D’Angelo Russell-Los Angeles Lakers (6,100) Russell has only been back for one game after missing three full games and being limited in two others by a calf injury. That one game he did come back though was an impressive one with 22-7-10 against the Nuggets for 47.4 fantasy points. He was playing well before the injury, and if he’s fully healthy Russell will get a ton of work coming down the stretch as the Lakers look to continue to develop their young PG. He’s facing the Wizards tonight and will go toe-to-toe with John Wall.∗∗∗
