High Salary C

Karl-Anthony Towns-Minnesota Timberwolves (9,900): Towns has at least 54 fantasy points in four straight and six of his last seven contests. He had 55 fantasy points against the Cavs on Wednesday behind 26-12-4 and two blocks. Towns takes on Andre Drummond and the Pistons tonight who held him to 14-12-1 earlier this season. He’s in much better form, though, coming into tonight’s matchup and has averaged 28-12.3-3.4 and almost two blocks per contest over his last ten. He’s surprisingly affordable at under 10K tonight, so plug him in if you can afford him tonight.

Andre Drummond-Detroit Pistons (7,900):  Drummond is looking to bounce back after a disappointing Wednesday with just 17-6-0 for 29.5 fantasy points. He was in good form before that with big games against the Heat and Celtics for 54.5 fantasy points and 69.0 fantasy points. He has a high ceiling which he showed off against Minnesota earlier this season when he had 22-22-0. He’s a very nice investment under 8K as long as he can play his full minutes unlike Wednesday.

Nikola Vucevic-Orlando Magic (7,000): Last SundayWhen the Magic played the Raptors, Vucevic had a massive 57 fantasy points on  25-10-5 and four blocks . In his two games since then, Vucevic hasn’t been quite as good but still managed 36.75 fantasy points (13-11-5) and 45.25 fantasy points (15-15-5). He contributes across all offensive categories and I like his  matchup tonight, so give him a look at this price.∗∗∗

Myles Turner-Indiana Pacers (6,900): Turner rolled into Wednesday’s game with four straight games of over 30 fantasy points, but he was held to just 11-3-3 and 23.75 against Orlando. Tonight, he should fare better against the Nets who he went off on for 25-15-0 and five blocks back on January 5. Turner’s matchup gives him an extremely high ceiling although he is still a little riskier than the other high-salary centers listed.
