High Value PG

D’Angelo Russell-Los Angeles Lakers (5,900) Russell missed some time with knee and calf injuries, but he has looked sharp in his two games since returning and is turning in better non-scoring numbers than we’re used to from the sophomore PG. D’Lo had 17-7-11 last night for 48.25 fantasy points against the Wizards after 22-7-10 for 51.25 fantasy points against the Nuggets on Tuesday. He is playing for the second night in a row, but he’s still a very nice option as long as his minutes aren’t capped against Boston tonight. The Celtics tend to get into high-scoring games and there should be plenty of fantasy points to grab a piece of in Beantown tonight.∗∗∗∗

Yogi Ferrell-Dallas Mavericks (5,100): Ferrell has definitely fit right in to the Mavericks attack since joining the team just three games ago. The Yogi attack is likely to continue tonight since Deron Williams is doubtful and J.J. Barea has already been ruled out. In his last three games, Ferrell has stepped right into the Mavs’ starting lineup and posted 26.5 fantasy points, 38.25 fantasy points, and 25.25 fantasy points. He has played 36, 38, and 38 minutes in those three games and takes a ton of shots in his time on the floor. Tonight, he’ll get a good matchup against the Blazers in what should be a pretty up-tempo game by Dallas’s standards. He isn’t a bargain-basement flier with upside any more, but he still returns enough upside to be worth considering.

Jordan Clarkson-Los Angeles Lakers (4,400):In addition to Russell, Clarkson should benefit from the up-tempo pace tonight and is coming off of 20 points last night aginst the Wizards in 29 minutes giving him 16+ points in three of his last four games and six of his last nine. He didn’t get many non-scoring numbers so only had 25 fantasy points which means he has at least that many in five of his last seven games. Right now, the Lakers backcourt is a very crowded place with Russell back, but Clarkson continues to make an impact when he gets going off the bench.

Jamal Murray-Denver Nuggets (3,600): Since so many of his teammates are injured, Murray has been picking up lots of extra minutes and usage. Tonight, Emmanuel Mudiay and Jameer Nelson are both expected to be active but Danilo Gallinari is out and Will Baron is still ailing as well. Murray could get extra run on the wing tonight agains the Bucks as he looks to extend his streak of games with at least 22 fantasy points to four. He played 32 minutes on Wednesday against the Grizzlies and took 16 shots. He only managed to shoot 3-16, though, and finish with 9-4-2 with three steals and a block. While it wasn’t efficient, his 25 fantasy points were a solid number from someone under 4K. Mudiay and Nelson in-Mudiay out-
