High Value PF

Thaddeus Young-Indiana Pacers (5,400): Young takes on his former teammates from Brooklyn tonight and remains a solid mid-range play with a low ceiling. Young has at least 22 fantasy points in four straight and eight of his last nine games. He had 22.7 fantasy points against the Nets last month on 10-6-1 and a pair of steals, but he has been picking up a ton of steals neatly with at least three in four of his last five and seven of his last nine. Young could get a better matchup tonight if the Nets start RHJ tonight instead of Trevor Booker, so I think he’ll have a solid revenge-game chance tonight.

Rondae Hollis-Jefferson-Brooklyn Nets (4,100): Hollis-Jefferson started for the Nets at PF on Wednesday ahead of Trevor Booker.  He immediately responded with 16-8-3 for 30.5 fantasy points against the Knicks and now has at least 19 fantasy points in four of his last five games overall.  If he starts again and plays 30 minute tonight against the Pacers he’ll have a high ceiling and be worth a look at this very affordable price. If starting-∗∗∗ Not starting-

JaMychal Green-Memphis Grizzlies (3,900): Green  has returned from his knee injury and played over 25 minutes in each of his last three games. His fantasy output hasn’t been great with just 21.5 and 19.5 fantasy points in his last two contests, but the fact that he’s back and picking up all the minutes makes him a decent option tonight against the injury-depleted Thunder. He is usually around a low-grade double-double when he gets that many minutes and could be good for 25+ fantasy points which is a solid return on a sub-4K play.

Lucas Nogueira-Toronto Raptors (3,900): Nogueira has been finding minutes and ways to produce despite a suddenly-crowded Raptors front court with Jared Sullinger and Patrick Patterson. Nogueira had 10-5-0 with four blocked shots against Boston on Wednesday for 25.75 fantasy points and has at least 21 fantasy points in each of his last four games and six of his last seven. The Raptors will be in a good matchup in Orlando tonight, and I like Nogueira’s potentialas long as he keeps getting minutes which he didn’t do against Orlando last Sunday when he played just 12 minutes.∗∗

Marquese Chriss-Phoenix Suns (3,600): The Suns continue to give plenty of playing time to Chriss and the rookie has made the most of it this week with 20-6-0 for 33 fantasy points against the Grizzlies and 9-5-1 for 25.25 fantasy points in another tough matchup against the Clippers. He gets a much easier matchup on paper tonight against the Kings in what should be a high-scoring game. I like Chriss’s upside, but he’s still a boom-or-bust play despite his role as the starter.
