High Salary PG

Isaiah Thomas-Boston Celtics (10,500): Thomas has been absolute fire for the month of January and continues to light up the fourth quarter especially giving Boston and his fantasy teams an exceptional finishing kick at the end of games. He has at least 50 fantasy points in four of his last five games including his 44-4-7 (points-rebounds-assists) from Wednesday against the Raptors when he had 56.3 fantasy points. Thomas gets a great matchup against the Lakers this year who have allowed the fifth-most fantasy points per game to opposing PG this season and were just destroyed by John Wall last night. Thomas is only risky since the C’s could blow the Lakers away early and his fourth quarter could be spent chilling on the bench instead of carrying his team to victory like he has in his last few contests.∗∗∗

Kyle Lowry-Toronto Raptors (9,600): Lowry has at least 42 fantasy points in each of his last five games and continues to pick up some of the offensive slack while DeMar DeRozan is out of for Toronto. He hadn’t had over 50 fantasy points in any of those five games but has 49+ three times including his 33-5-8 against Orlando last Sunday. He’ll face the Magic again tonight and is a solid play if DeRozan is still sidelined. No DeRozan-∗ With DeRozan-

Eric Bledsoe-Phoenix Suns (9,500): If DeRozan is back to help Lowry with the scoring Orlando, I actually think Bledsoe becomes a better play in a good matchup with the Kings in Sacramento. Bledsoe has three games in his last six with over 50 fantasy points, but he’s still volatile as you can tell from his last two games when he had 51.8 fantasy points after only posting 26 fantasy points the game before.

Jeff Teague-Indiana Pacers (7,600): The fast-paced and defensively challenged Nets are a great matchup for Teague and the Pacers tonight. The Pacers’ PG is coming off a down game in Orlando where he only had 13-1-9 for 22.7 fantasy points on Wednesday after posting 39+ fantasy points in four of his previous five. Teague had 21-7-15 and 52.9 fantasy points when the Pacers played the Nets early in January, so look for him to urn up another good number tonight making him a great play based on form (last game excepted) and matchup.

D’Angelo Russell-Los Angeles Lakers (6,100) Russell has come back from his knee and calf injuries in a very giving mood and has turned in back-to-back double-doubles with double-digit assists. He had 17-7-11 last night for 40.9 fantasy points against the Wizards after 22-7-10 for 47.4 fantasy points against the Nuggets on Tuesday. He is playing for the second night in a row, but he’s still a very nice option as long as his minutes aren’t capped against Boston.∗∗
