High Salary SF

Jimmy Butler-Chicago Bulls (9,400): Butler has at least 40 fantasy points in four of his last five games with the outlier being his horrible game off the bench in Miami when he had just 8.6 fantasy points. Butler only had to play 30 minutes in OKC on Wednesday to get 45.3 fantasy points on 28-4-5 with three steals. Against Houston tonight, there should be fantasy points everywhere and Butler usually carries the load in matchups like this one. It should be a fun one to watch and with the Rockets defense, I think it will be especially enjoyable for Butler owners.

Paul George-Indiana Pacers (8,700): PG13 was a letdown to those of us who owned him on Wednesday when he only had 8-7-3 and 15.9 fantasy points against the Magic. Before that, he had been rolling with 42+ fantasy points in four straight. He has a good shot at a bounce back game tonight against the Nets who have been the worst team in the NBA against opposing SF this season. George had 26-1-3 against them in December, but his startlingly bad 3-14 shooting against Orlando makes him riskier than Jimmy Buckets tonight.∗∗∗

Harrison Barnes-Dallas Mavericks (6,600): Barnes lit up the Blazers in December for 28-7-0 and 36.4 fantasy points in Portland, and he’ll face them again tonight as he looks to continue his strong first season in Dallas. Barnes had 24-11-3 for 40.7 fantasy points against the Cavs on Monday which gave him at least 32 fantasy points in three of his last four games. He dropped off a bit on Wednesday with just 27.9 fantasy points against the Sixers, but I think he’ll bounce back with a good game in a good matchup tonight.∗∗∗

Jae Crowder-Boston Celtics (6,500): Crowder has been a huge part of Boston’s recent success and has at least 24 fantasy points in 11 straight games showing he’s a consistent contributor. He has stepped up even more lately, though, and had four straight games with 30+ fantasy points before slipping to just 26.1 fantasy points on Wednesday. Tonight, he gets a great matchup against the Lakers who have struggled badly with opposing SF all season. They’ve allowed the third-most fantasy points to opposing SF on the year, and Crowder will be a strong mid-range play tonight as a result.

Wilson Chandler-Denver Nuggets (6,300): With Danilo Gallinari out, Wilson Chandler should find more minutes and shots for the Nuggets tonight. Chandler has been solid when he gets playing time this season, but he and his DFS owners have been frustrated by a lack of a consistent role.  For tonight, he has huge upside against the Bucks who have allowed the second-most fantasy points in the NBA to opposing SF. Chandler brings huge upside as he showed with 50.8 fantasy points on Tuesday, but he also comes with risk as evidences by his two games under 15 fantasy points on either side of that explosion.
