DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup-February 4
High Salary C
Anthony Davis-New Orleans Pelicans (10,400): Davis has over 53 fantasy points in each of his last three games and has played over 40 minutes in each of those three games showing his quad bruise is no longer an issue. Davis and the Pelicans visit Washington tonight who Davis just tore up for 70.75 fantasy points on Sunday by posting 36-17-3 with three steals and two blocks. Since he’s not on the second half of back-to-back games, Davis makes a lot of sense at this price point as long as he stays healthy tonight.∗∗∗∗
Nikola Jokic-Denver Nuggets (8,900): Jokic came back with a bang last night against the Bucks with a triple-double of 20-13-11 for 59.25 fantasy points. He has at least 55 fantasy points in six of his last eight games and had a solid 19-11-5 for 42.25 fantasy points against the Spurs in early January. He faces the Spurs tonight on the second half of his back-to-back which makes him a little risky especially given the matchup in San Antonio tonight.∗∗∗
Hassan Whiteside-Miami Heat (7,600): Whiteside is in a great matchup against the Sixers tonight and a solid play under 8K. He missed a game last Friday with an ankle injury and struggled in his first two games back, but he finally looked full-strength in his last game as he had 18-18-0 with a pair of blocks for 47 fantasy points against the Hawks on Wednesday. He gets an outstanding matchup tonight as he faces the 76ers who don’t have Joel Embiid. Jahlil Okafor is a great matchup for Whiteside tonight and the Sixers have given up more fantasy points per game to opposing centers than any other team in the NBA.∗∗∗∗
Rudy Gobert-Utah Jazz (7,500): Gobert gets a matchup against the Hornets who don’t really have a center tonight and will be rolling out Frank Kaminsky to try and slow down Gobert. He’s coming off a huge game of 50.75 fantasy points against the Bucks on Wednesday when he dominated down low for 26-15-1 before fouling out. He has at least 32 fantasy points in eight of his last nine gamesand should be set up for a huge game at home tonight.∗∗∗∗
Marcin Gortat-Washington Wizards (6,100): Over his last four games, Gortat has turned four straight double-doubles with at least 35 fantasy points each game. He exploded for 21-14-3 for 55 fantasy points against the Lakers on Thursday and also had 17-11-2 for 36.25 fantasy points against the Pelicans on Sunday. He’ll take on New Orleans again tonight making him a low-risk option at just over 6K.∗∗∗
