DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup-February 4
High Salary SG
Klay Thompson-Golden State Warriors (6,900): On Thursday in LA, Thompson had 33.25 fantasy points against the Clippers on 9-19 shooting for 21-7-2. He now has at least 31 fantasy points in six of his last seven, and the “splash brother” have reprised their fantasy roles. Since the Kings are stretched so thin at SG, Thompson should be ready for a big game tonight if the Warriors need him to step up. As usual, there’s always the risk of a blowout or a huge Steph or KD game, but Thompson has big upside for a sub-7K investment.∗∗
Devin Booker-Phoenix Suns (6,600): The Suns are still struggling, but they definitely have found a big piece of their future in Devin Booker. Booker hit the game-winning shot last night while finishing with 33-2-2 and two steals for 46 fantasy points against the Kings. His 33 points ran his streak of games with 20+ points to 15. As the Suns come home to finish their back-to-back, Booker will get a good matchup against the Bucks who have allowed the eighth-most fantasy points in the NBA to opposing SG this season.∗∗∗∗
Nicolas Batum-Charlotte Hornets (6,400): Batum’s price took a big drop after a rough game in Golden State on Wednesday as the Hornets were blown away on the second night of their back-to-back. Even in just 24 minutes, Batum still had 30.25 fantasy points on 13-5-7 after posting 37 or more fantasy points in three straight. Tonight, he has a tough matchup in Utah, but he catches a break that Rodney Hood is out and he could have to carry the offense if Kemba Walker is sidelined. With Walker-∗∗∗ No Walker-∗∗∗∗
