High Salary C

Hassan Whiteside-Miami Heat (8,800): With the two five-figure options at center coming off games last night and in bad matchups, Whiteside is my top expensive center play tonight. He missed a game last Friday with an ankle  injury and struggled in his first two games back. He finally looked full-strength last game as he had 18-18-0 with a pair of blocks for 43.6 fantasy points against the Hawks on Wednesday. He gets an outstanding matchup tonight as he faces the 76ers who don’t have Joel Embiid. Jahlil Okafor is a great matchup for Whiteside tonight and the Sixers have given up more fantasy points per game to opposing centers than any other team in the NBA.

Andre Drummond-Detroit Pistons (8,500): Drummond had a solid 12-18-0 with three blocks for 40.6 fantasy points against Karl-Anthony Towns and the T-Wolves last night. Drummond has at least 17 rebounds in six of his last nine games and hd had a monster 20-14-2 for 45.8 fantasy points against the Pacers in the last meeting between the two teams. Drummond is playing for the second day in a row which raises the risk, but he’s still worth a look if you don’t trust Whiteside.

Rudy Gobert-Utah Jazz (7,900): Gobert gets a matchup against the Hornets who don’t really have a center tonight and will be rolling out Frank Kaminsky to try and slow down Gobert. He’s coming off a huge game of 47.5 fantasy points against the Bucks on Wednesday when he dominated down low for 26-15-1. He has at least 31 fantasy points in eight of his last nine gamesand should be set up for a huge game at home tonight.∗∗∗

Marcin Gortat-Washington Wizards (6,700): Gortat has turned four straight double-doubles with at least 33 fantasy points each game. He exploded for 21-14-3 for 43.3 fantasy points against the Lakers on Thursday and also had 17-11-2 for 33.2 fantasy points against the Pelicans on Sunday. He’ll take on New Orleans again tonight making him a low-risk option at just under 7K.
