High Salary SF

LeBron James-Cleveland Cavaliers (11,500): LeBron loves playing in the Garden and usually puts on quite a show. He’ll face the Knicks tonight after posting at least 48 fantasy points in five of his last six games. He had 58.6 fantasy points on 27-8-12 against the T-Wolves Wednesday and he should be well-rested and ready to go head-to-head with Carmelo Anthony tonight. The only reason LeBron is risky is that his price has shot up to where he needs to get around60 fantasy points to return full value tonight.

Kawhi Leonard-San Antonio Spurs (9,700): Kawhi has been red hot for the Spurs who are still often overlooked with all the drama everywhere else in the NBA. Kawhi has at least 40 fantasy points in eight of his last ten games. Two of those eight came against the Nuggets who he’ll face again tonight. He had 41.7 fantasy points against Denver on January 5 on 24-6-5 and followed that with 51 fantasy points on January 19 on 34-5-4. On Thursday, he only had to play 25 minutes against the Sixers to get 19-8-5 for 40.1 fantasy points, so he should be well-rested and ready for as much as the Spurs need from him tonight.

Paul George-Indiana Pacers (8,700): PG13 crushed his owners on Wednesday with just 8-7-3 and 15.9 fantasy points against the Magic, but he bounced back for 24-11-3 for 48.7 fantasy points against the Nets. He has at least 42 fantasy points in five of his last six games, and he will need to step up and carry the Pacers against Detroit tonight like he did back on January 3 when he had 32-6-2 for 44.2 fantasy points.∗∗∗

Gordon Hayward-Utah Jazz (7,600): Hayward and the Jazz host the Hornets in Utah tonight, and Hayward will again need to help carry the offense in the absence of the again-injured Rodney Hood. Hayward had 27-4-5 with three steals for 43.3 fantasy points on Wednesday in a good matchup with the Bucks, but that was the first time he had been able to reach 40 fantasy points in six tries. He definitely has the potential to be a good play at this price tonight, but he’s also high risk due to his recent inconsistnecy.

Otto Porter-Washington Wizards (6,400): Porter has 26+ fantasy points in three of his last four games and seven of his last nine. He had 13-6-0 for 28.2 fantasy points the last time the Wizards faced the Pelicans. He can definitely run hot-and-cold from night to night, but he’s a solid enough play to consider for tonight as one of the few players between 5K and 7.5K that make sense at all tonight.
