FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup-February 4
High Salary PF
Anthony Davis-New Orleans Pelicans (11,200): Davis has over 50 fantasy points in each of his last three games and has played over 40 minutes in each of those three games showing his quad bruise is no longer an issue. Davis and the Pelicans visit Washington tonight who Davis just tore up for 64.9 fantasy points on Sunday by posting 36-17-3 with three steals and two blocks. Since he’s not on the second half of back-to-back games, Davis makes a lot of sense at this price point as long as he stays healthy tonight.∗∗∗∗
Nikola Jokic-Denver Nuggets (10,300): The other five-figure PF tonight is Nikola Jokic who just returned from a three-game absence due to a hip injury. Jokic looked sharp in his return against Milwaukee with a triple-double of 20-13-11 for 52.1 fantasy points. He has at least 50 fantasy points in six of his last eight games and had a solid 19-11-5 against the Spurs in early January. He faces the Spurs tonight on the second half of his back-to-back which makes him a little risky especially given the matchup in San Antonio tonight.∗∗∗
Kevin Love-Cleveland Cavaliers (7,600): Love missed the Cavs last two games with back spasms and was limited to just 12 minutes against the Thunder last Sunday. In his three games before that, though, Love had tree double-doubles for at least 34 fantasy points. When he has been able to stay on the court, he has put together good games and should be ready to take on the Knicks tonight who are one of the teams rumored to be trying to acquire him from the Cavs. He’s a nice price tonight if he’s back to full strength, but he’s higher risk than usual since its his first game back.∗∗
Markieff Morris-Washington Wizards (7,200): The Wizards have been getting good play from Morris who has at least 32 fantasy points in six of his last seven games. He had 21-8-1 for 32.1 fantasy points against the Pelicans on Sunday, and he’ll look to keep his production going tonight as he seeks his third straight double-double.∗∗∗∗
Kristaps Porzingis-New York Knicks (6,600): Earlier this season, it would be unthinkable that Porzingis would be this cheap, but he struggled throughout January resulting in his salary sliding to under 7K. Porzingis started February on a promising note with 19-12-1 with two blocks for 36.9 fantasy points, and tonight he’ll take on the Cavs and Kevin Love in a matchup he should be able to attack.∗∗∗
Serge Ibaka-Orlando Magic (6,200): Another player with a salary in the 6,000’s with a lot to offer tonight is Serge Ibaka who has over 35 fantasy points in each of his last three games after 40.9 fantasy points last night against the Raptors on 20-12-1 with three blocks. He and the Magic head to Atlanta where he’ll have to tangle with Paul Millsap and Dwight Howard. He only had 9-11-0 against Atlanta early in January, but he is still worth considering given his strong recent form.∗∗∗
Ersan Ilyasova-Philadelhia 76ers (6,100): Ilyasova has helped pick up some of the offense left behind by Joel Embiid’s absence and has three double-doubles in his last four games. He had 31-11-1 for 44.7 fantasy points against Chicago on Sunday and 25-10-2 for 46 fantasy points against the Spurs on Thursday in two of his highlights during that run, and in a small-ball style game tonight he should be a good play.∗∗∗∗
