FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup-February 4
High Value PF
Gorgui Dieng-Minnesota Timberwolves (5,500): After 30.4 fantasy points on 6-12-2 with three blocks last night in Detroit, Dieng has over 25 fantasy points in five of his last six games. He doesn’t score a ton of points most night, but he gets plenty of non-scoring production to still make him worth a mid-range salary.∗∗∗
Frank Kaminsky-Charlotte Hornets (4,500): Frank Kaminsky had a career-best 24 points in 24 minutes against the Warriors on his way to 39.4 fantasy points. He is lined up for as many minutes as he can handle tonight with Cody Zeller out, Miles Plumlee just acquired, and Mike Tobey just up from the D-League. Frank will be in a horrible matchup, though, as he faces Rudy Gobert and the Jazz. He’s definitely someone to watch, but he’s high-risk because of matchup tonight.∗∗
Dario Saric-Philadelphia 76ers (4,400): Saric is getting some extra minutes with Robert Covington and Joel Embiid out. He has scored in double-digits in his of his last seven games with at least 20 fantasy points in each of those six contests. He’ll face the Heat tonight and makes sense at this price point if Covington and Embiid are out. He played 36 minutes against San Antonio on Thursday, and I think he’ll be more productive if he gets similar minutes tonight. Covington/Embiid out-∗∗∗∗
James Michael McAdoo-Golden State Warriors (3,600): If you’re rolling the dice at PF tonight, check out McAdoo who has played 17+ minutes in four of his last five games with at least 16 fantasy points in three of those games. He had a solid 10-9-0 for 22.8 fantasy points on Thursday although his numbers did get a boost from Draymond Green’s absence. Green should return tonight, but McAdoo is still on the radar as a cheap dice-roll.∗
