FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup-February 6
High Salary C
DeMarcus Cousins, SAC vs CHI ($11,000): DeMarcus Cousins is the highest-priced player on this rec sheet today, and he really has very little ceiling as to what he can produce on a given day. In his last 12 games he has averaged 28.7 points, 12.6 boards, 6.4 assists, 1.3 steals, 1.3 blocks and 4.9 turnovers with two triple-doubles in addition to Saturday’s 32/12/9 effort against the Warriors. On Monday he faces a Bulls frontline that has respectably allowed the 10th-fewest fantasy points to centers this season, but that Cousins frankly should be too much physically for them to contain. ****
Karl-Anthony Towns, MIN vs MIA ($10,200): Towns is zoning right now, in the midst of 10-straight double-doubles in which he has averaged 28.4 points, 12.4 boards, 3.3 assists, 1.7 blocks, 0.8 steals and 2.8 turnovers per game. Despite this, his price has somehow dropped $700 from this time last week. On Monday he faces a Heat defense with a big name in the middle, but Hassan Whiteside’s presence hasn’t stopped them from allowing the 13th-most fantasy points to centers this season. ****
Andre Drummond, DET vs PHI ($8500): Drummond had a pedestrian 13 points, nine boards and six turnovers on Saturday against the Pacers. But even with that down game, has averaged 17.4 points, 15 boards, 2.2 steals, 1.6 blocks and 1.0 assists with 2.6 turnovers in his last five outings. On Monday he will face a 76ers frontline that will be without Joel Embiid, may be without Jahlil Okafor (knee), and that has Nerlens Noel coming off of an illness that limited him to 20 minutes in his start on Saturday. The stage seems set for Drummond to have a dominant game in the middle. ***
