High Salary SF

LeBron James, CLE at WAS ($11,200): LeBron James has been in full triple-double mode for the past two weeks, averaging 26.9 points with 10.4 assists, 9.1 rebounds, 1.6 combined steals/blocks and 4.3 turnovers over his last seven games. During that stretch he has three points-assists double-doubles, one points-rebounds double-double, and two outright triple-doubles. On Monday he will lead the Cavaliers against a surging Wizards team that has been unbeatable at home for the last couple of months, and that has allowed the 10th-fewest fantasy points to small forwards this season. The Wizards’ wing defense is solid but beatable, and the challenge of an Eastern Conference team that is growing into a challenger should motivate James to be at his best on Monday. ****

Paul George, IND vs OKC ($8800): George has been in the midst of a pretty dominant couple of weeks, averaging 26 points with 6.4 boards, 3.4 assists, 1.9 combined steals/blocks and 3.0 turnovers over his last seven games. He had one 8-point clunker in there against the Magic last week, but has scored at least 21 points in each of the other six games. On Monday he faces a Thunder team on the second half of a back-to-back that has allowed the seventh-most fantasy points to small forwards over the last 10 games. ****

Gordon Hayward, UTA at ATL ($7600): Hayward has not fully lived up to my expectations this season on the whole, but in his last couple of games he has gone nuts to the tune of 30 points, 6.0 boards, 3.5 assists, 2.0 steals and 2.0 turnovers. He seems to be stepping up his scoring in the midst of continuous injury concerns on the wing for the Jazz. On Monday he will face a Hawks defense that has allowed the eighth-most fantasy points to small forwards over the last 10 games. ***
