Julian Edelman made one of the most insane catches in football history on Sunday night, and thankfully he was mic’d up for it

The New England Patriots pulled off one of the more improbable comebacks in the history of sports this past Sunday, as they erased a 25-point deficit to defeat the Atlanta Falcons in Super Bowl 51. During the comeback in the fourth quarter on Sunday, Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman made one of the greatest catches that you will ever see, making sure that his team would complete said comeback.

At the time of the catch, amid other things that were going through everyone’s minds as they watched it unfold, all football fans were probably wondering what Edelman’s reaction to the catch was after he made it. I mean, how does one react to making what is probably the greatest catch in the history of the Super Bowl?

Thankfully, with today’s technology, we know exactly how the Patriots wideout reacted. He was mic’d up on that NRG Stadium field on Sunday and of course his reaction is priceless.

He knew he caught it and he wanted everyone to know what he had just pulled off, and who could blame him, really? Maybe the best part is him screaming, “I CAUGHT IT!” immediately after he somehow managed to not let the ball hit that ground.

Thank the lucky stars that we have the means to listen to stuff like this these days, because it makes moments like this so much better.
