2. Pierre Garcon

The Ravens have some huge shoes to fill on their offense thanks to the retirement of Steve Smith Sr. Replacing him will be hard to do, not just on the field, but in the locker room as well. Smith was very valuable on the field as a slot receiver. His fire and competitiveness is contagious for all the right reasons. Baltimore might not need to look far for his replacement because he might be in the same state. Pierre Garcon would be a nice fit for them.

He has the big play ability the team has lacked over the past few years. Much like Smith, Garcon can do a lot of damage after the catch. Baltimore needs a guy capable of hauling down receptions and Garcon is the most realistic option.

Alshon Jeffrey would be a solid option, but Baltimore likely can’t afford him. DeSean Jackson might work, but he’ll quickly find himself out of their price range. Garcon is right on the border of their price range, but expect general manager Ozzie Newsome to increase the range a bit to solve an obvious issue.

In 2016, Pro Football Focus gave the Washington Redskins receiver an 85.8 grade, tops among free agent options.
