Cleveland Cavaliers superstar LeBron James missed an open dunk and wanted a foul call despite not being touched.

After speculation arose about whether or not the Cleveland Cavaliers’ big three would play against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Thursday night, they decided to lace up their shoes and hit the court. However, they were in for a fight from the very beginning and LeBron James did something he normally doesn’t. As James got out on the fast break against the Thunder, there was no one between him and the hoop.

That’s when he decided to go strong with two hands for the jam. Instead, he went so hard that he missed the dunk and he hit the deck. James immediately popped up thinking he was fouled despite not being touched. The ref wouldn’t give him the foul call.

While it’s clear he wasn’t touched on the play, James is going to plead his case and try to get his team the call. Perhaps from the sheer force of the dunk and hitting the ground, he might have thought that he was touched.

Instead, he knocked himself down. It would have been cool to see him put down the thunderous slam with authority but alas even the great ones miss a dunk from time to time. James and the Cavaliers have quite the test with Russell Westbrook and the Thunder on the road.

Despite blowing them out at home this season, Oklahoma City is always one of the toughest places to play in the league. The energy in the arena is something else and it apparently is even enough to make the best player in the NBA miss an open dunk.
