12. Paris Saint-Germain

Paris Saint-Germain’s players look as though they’re finally finding their feet under manager Unai Emery. The man who succeeded Laurent Blanc last summer has PSG pushing hard in the Ligue 1 title race.

Emery is getting outstanding performances from center-forward Edinson Cavani, playmaker Angel di Maria and winger Lucas Moura. They are three genuine match-winners at any level.

Unfortunately for the Parisians, Barcelona are waiting in the last 16. It’s still the Barcelona of Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez, so watch out Cavani and Co.

Emery proved his chops in tournament football by guiding Sevilla to a hat-trick of Europa League trophies. But getting past Barca will prove a tougher proposition altogether.
