2. Jameis Winston

When looking at the NFC South, you’ve got three established quarterbacks who’ve either been an MVP and or led their team to a Super Bowl. That only leaves one; James Winston in Tampa Bay. Winston improved in 2016, throwing for over 4,000 yards again and improving on touchdowns from 21 to 28 in his second NFL season.

His third season could be his breakout season, with a strong receiving core and defense to back him up. Winston can help solidify the NFC South as the best quarterback division in all of football. As far as joining Matt Ryan, Drew Brees and Newton as Super Bowl and or MVP quarterbacks, that might be a few seasons down the road. This year should provide a nice jumping off point for that happening.

1. Jay Ajayi

Raise your hand if you saw Ajayi having a breakout season. Nope, that’s what I thought.

With the Miami Dolphins struggling to have some type of an offense, Ajayi came out of nowhere to breathe new life in the Dolphins season in 2016. His stats were out of this world, rushing for over 1,200 yards and eight touchdowns. It became clear that in the third season of his career he and Tannehill will look to make another run at the playoffs.
