Marlon Humphrey

CB, Alabama

The Arizona Cardinals had to hold their breath when starting quarterback Carson Palmer moved his family out of the state. In fact, the future of the position was up in the air even with Palmer, though he should have a year or two of good football left in him. The Cardinals will probably select from a nice crop of quarterbacks in next year’s draft, meaning they will bolster their defense this year.

Patrick Peterson is one of the best cornerbacks in the NFL, but he cannot do everything himself. While he is very good at shutting down one side of the field, the big question is who is going to play alongside of him next season. That man could be Marlon Humphrey, who has emerged as one of the best collegiate cornerbacks in America during his time with the Alabama Crimson Tide.

Humphrey is the son of a former NFL running back, and he knows what it takes to make it in this league. Throughout his time with the Tide, Humphrey was considered one of the best corners in the SEC, and he is by far one of the best talents in this draft class. The Cardinals have the talent to make a run next season, and adding Humphrey would definitely make their cornerback group a strength.
