Garett Bolles

OT, Utah

The Houston Texans made a big mistake this past offseason, locking up quarterback Brock Osweiler to a $72 million dollar deal. While the defense proved to be elite in 2016, the fact that Osweiler could not move the ball has to have everybody in the organization worried. Houston also brought in a great running back in Lamar Miller last offseason, and there are plenty of pieces in place for them to continue to be a playoff team.

Whether or not the Texans decide to keep Osweiler under center remains to be seen, but the team does need help in front of him. The Texans have to consider bolstering their offensive line a priority as they head into the draft, and Garett Bolles of Utah is one of the best offensive lineman in this draft. He would be a very nice fit along the Texans line as they look to repeat as champions of the AFC South next season.

Houston had the best defense in the league last season despite not having J.J. Watt for most of the year. If they can do anything with the quarterback position, like bring in Tony Romo, they should be a favorite to possibly make it to an AFC title game. However, if Osweiler plays the way he did last year, they may be like the Broncos this season, on the outside looking in during the playoffs.
