Deshaun Watson

QB, Clemson

There are so many ways that the Chicago Bears could go in April, as they played a pretty bad brand of football in 2016. Some believe the Bears will look to bolster their defense at No. 3, but the lure of a player like Deshaun Watson may be too much to pass up. Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney said that passing up on Watson would be like passing up on Michael Jordan, which another Chicago franchise certainly did not do over 30 years ago.

The bottom line is the Bears quarterback situation is a mess, and all signs point to Jay Cutler being done in the Windy City. Backup Brian Hoyer played nice in spots last season, but can he really be considered a starting quarterback at this point? It is time for the team to bring in their next franchise quarterback, and Watson would certainly bring a winning pedigree to the fallen franchise.

Head coach John Fox needs to win now, and Watson proved during his time at Clemson that he can play big in big situations. He led the Tigers to an improbable win over the Alabama Crimson Tide in the National Championship Game, throwing for 420 yards against one of the better college football defenses in recent memory. Some experts have him graded as a second-round or later talent, but we feel he will be gone pretty early in April.
