2. Edge

Andre Branch is a free agent, and Mario Williams is the most likely name to be a cap casualty on the Dolphins this offseason. Branch could be a priority to return, especially considering the depth at the position, but at the same time, he may see a bit of demand on the market. Whether Branch comes back or not, this position is still a big need.

Branch played mostly in rotational snaps. Same goes for Cam Wake, the guy who would essentially be the only edge rusher with experience if Williams and Branch were not to return. Terrence Fede and Nick Williams would be the only other names on the roster and that would not be preferred.

Edge, like tight end is a great position to draft in 2017. This seems like the most reasonable pick for No. 22 in the NFL draft. They may hit the position twice in the draft as well given the depth and talent of the class this year. When looking at free agents, Jabaal Sheard would be a nice name to take away from the Patriots and add to the rotation in Miami. Mario Addison would be the big name to add if they feel like spending, and guys like Margus Hunt or Jack Crawford could be cheap rotational options to slide in with the 22nd-overall pick and Williams.
