Melvin Ingram

OLB, Los Angeles Chargers

Arguably one of the biggest decisions of the Chargers offseason has to be whether or not they are going to bring back Melvin Ingram. His importance on this team cannot be understated, and without him, the Bolts are very inexperienced at the outside linebacker position. They would have to bring in somebody with equal talent to just give themselves a chance to be competitive at that position next season, and there are not many people that fit that description out there.

Ingram has played his entire career with the Chargers, and many believe he is the best pass rusher available this free agency period. He is the heart and soul of the Chargers defense, and bringing him back has to be a priority for new head coach, Anthony Lynn. Ingram has battled through some tough injuries during his career, but he has finally put together two healthy seasons in a row.

The Chargers are going to be an exciting team to watch, and Los Angeles will actually have a football team with some talent next season. This team battled through some tough injuries and hard losses last season, and with a couple of bounces, they could have been right up there in the wild card race. Ingram was a big reason why the Chargers were able to stay in games last season, and he has to be a top priority for the team as they look toward their first season in LA.
