Ryan Ramczyk

OT, Wisconsin

The Denver Broncos took a step back in 2016, as they failed to repeat as Super Bowl Champions. That was understandable, however, as their quarterback, Peyton Manning retired after the team beat the Carolina Panthers in Super Bowl 50. The team went with a relatively unknown signal-caller in 2016, as Trevor Siemian beat out veteran Mark Sanchez and rookie first-rounder Paxton Lynch to win the job during the preseason.

While Siemian did struggle at times, he actually played very well in spurts late in the season. Newly minted head coach Vance Joseph has not made Siemian his quarterback for next season, however, as he would like to give Lynch a shot to win the job this preseason. No matter who is under center next year, one thing is for certain, that this team needs to get better on the offensive line quickly.

Ryan Ramczyk is the best offensive line prospect in this draft, and proved during his time at Wisconsin that he can be a left tackle at the next level. He has incredible strength and footwork, and would instantly be an upgrade over a player like Russell Okung at left tackle. The Broncos still have an elite defense, but if they cannot get their quarterback some protection next season, it may be another year out of the playoffs.
