Reuben Foster

LB, Alabama

If you would have told me that the Cincinnati Bengals would be picking in the top-10 when the season began, I would have told you that you were crazy. However, that is the case for the Bengals, who have long been one of the class teams in the NFL. It should not take them that long to get back to being a playoff team, and with the ninth overall pick, they have to be thinking the time has come for them to make a serious run.

Throughout his time with the Alabama Crimson Tide, Reuben Foster established himself as the leader of the defense. The Crimson Tide have been historic on defense, and Foster is a big reason why the team went to consecutive title games. We like Foster as our top linebacker this draft, and for good reason, as he has physical gifts you just do not see very often.

One of the biggest things about Foster is the fact that he can play all over the field. Not only is he great at going sideline to sideline to make tackles, but he also has the ability to come up and put pressure on the quarterback. Head coach Marvin Lewis is going to have his team ready for the 2017 season, and hopefully for him, he can finally win that first playoff game as head coach of the Bengals.
