Miami Heat

Sending out: Goran Dragic (ORL)

Bringing in: Jordan Hill (MIN), Sergio Rodriguez (PHI), Al-Farouq Aminu (POR), 2017 first rounder (NYK)

The Miami Heat are fun but they are not making the playoffs and they aren’t doing anything with this core without a few more additions. Goran Dragic has been the heart and soul of the team but he shouldn’t be moving forward. Here the Heat send him out and get a fairly healthy return.

Jordan Hill warms a seat on the bench until his contract expires. Sergio Rodriguez helps run the point and keeps the Heat from sliding into the sea before the NBA Draft runs around. Aminu is just a year removed from being a reliable shooter and a versatile defender. The big prize is the Knicks first round pick for this season which will likely fall near the top of the lottery. It’s a no-brainer.
