Minnesota Timberwolves

Sending out: Jordan Hill (MIA), Tyus Jones (CLE)

Bringing in: Nik Stauskas (PHI), Quincy Pondexter (NOP), 2017 second round pick (WAS)

I don’t care what anyone else says Ricky Rubio is useful for the Minnesota Timberwolves and he should stay there in perpetuity. If we want to untangle that point guard twig-jam, let’s move out Tyus Jones and fill another hole.

Quincy Pondexter has probably turned to dust by now and a second round pick from the Wizards is just something else to keep the war room busy with on draft night. Stauskas is not going to deliver on his lottery selection but he can at least make 3-pointers and offer a little juice for the Timberwolves offense. Who knows, maybe Thibodeau can even get him to play defense? At the very least it means they don’t have to go back to the Lance Stephenson well this season.
