Phoenix Suns

Sending out: Brandon Knight (SAC)

Bringing in: Luis Scola (BRK), Ed Davis (POR), 2018 first round pick (CHA), 2017 second round pick (ORL)

The Phoenix Suns have a lot of trade assets but they one they’d probably like to unload the most is Brandon Knight. He’s become redundant next to Eric Bledsoe and the ascendent Devin Booker and is having one of the worst seasons of his career. The Suns would like to get a first round pick for him and waiting a year for one from the Charlotte Hornets seems fair considering how bad Knight has been.

Scola and Davis don’t mean much, salary filler and warm bodies to fill uniforms for the rest of the season. It’s a small move for a small gain but the Suns needs every little advantage they can get as they try to move their rebuild forward.
