1. Bolster the offensive line

For how well the Broncos performed on the defensive side of the ball, the offense had its fair share of issues during the 2016 season. The Broncos did a horrible job of running the ball, and their quarterbacks were under duress for most of the season. Denver needs to do a good job of bringing in talent on the offensive line, as this is the biggest area of needs as the team heads into the 2017 season.

The Broncos pick at No. 20 in the 2017 NFL Draft, and we like them to go with a player like Ryan Ramczyk from the University of Wisconsin. Ramczyk is an extremely good offensive tackle prospect, and he should be able to stay at left tackle at the next level. He would be an instant upgrade over Russell Okung at the position, and would actually enable Okung to move over to the right side of the line for next season.

With questions abound about who is going to play quarterback, as well as running back, the Broncos cannot afford to head into the 2017 season with questions about their offensive line. The unit needs a major overhaul, and you can expect John Elway to be wheeling and dealing to make sure the unit is a strength next season. The Broncos have a bunch of pieces in place to be very competitive next season, but if they cannot improve up front on both sides of the ball, it may be another season on the outside looking in come playoff time.
