Kevin Durant throws down hammer, DeAndre Jordan responds with alley-oop

Kevin Durant dropped the hammer on the Clippers Thursday night, then DeAndre Jordan responded with an alley-oop finish of his own.
If you aren’t watching the Golden State Warriors play the Los Angeles Clippers Thursday night, well then my friend, you missed out.
Though both are championship contenders, the Clippers were expected to get blown out, especially with Chris Paul out of the lineup.
Besides Draymond Green’s hilarious disrespect towards Paul Pierce’s retirement tour, it looked like a dunk session in the Bay Arena.
Kevin Durant came down with a hammer on one end and then on the next play, DeAndre Jordan responded with a message of his own on an alley-oop finish:
Despite the Warriors having the Clippers’ number more times than not over the last few years, it’s still entertaining to watch these high-powered offenses. This postseason, these teams could meet again in a playoff series, but everybody and their grandmother knows how that goes.
Los Angeles wins 50+ games during the regular season, but tends to fall apart when it comes to playoff time. Now in the Clippers’ defense they’ve dealt with injuries at the worst times, especially last season when Chris Paul fractured his hand during Game 4 against Portland.
Unfortunately, the clock doesn’t stop ticking. It’s still no excuse for Los Angeles to be this athletically gifted and reach the NBA Finals zero times in five seasons with Doc Rivers coaching the team.
Yet, despite their talent, are we going to pick them over a San Antonio team who has a coach in Gregg Popovich that could win with middle school players on his roster? Or a deadly Golden State team that signed superstar in Kevin Durant forming the greatest offense of all time?

All in all, it appears Los Angeles will make it six seasons without a title under Doc and the big three. Though the Clippers won’t win the championship, at least they can show how great they are in the regular seasons with flashy dunks.
