Minnesota Vikings: 5 offseason needs
1. Tackle
With all of the questions at the guard position, somehow the tackle position is even uglier. As mentioned, Beavers and Clemmings will be on the roster, but most Vikings fans will be praying that neither are forced to start next season. Matt Kalil is a free agent, but this is a true under-performer and a guy who was hurt almost all of last season. If they are going to pay him, it will be less than the market rate.
Unlike guard, where Boone is at least slotted into one spot, this team may very well need two new tackles. This should be a position that gets hit in both free agency and the draft. The first name they should call in free agency is Ricky Wagner. He is a top-flight right tackle in the league and would be a dramatic upgrade at the position. Kelvin Beachum and Riley Reiff are some names with question marks, but both would be better than anything Minnesota had last season.

The Vikings also will spend a high-round pick on this position. Their first pick is not until round two. However, unless there is a star available somewhere else, the assumption should be that this pick will be a tackle or a running back.
