WWE will induct “The Glamazon” Beth Phoenix into this year’s Hall of Fame ceremony, during WrestleMania weekend.

The list of inductees that are set for WWE’s Hall of Fame ceremony this year keeps growing as the event draws near. On Monday afternoon, we found out the latest name you can add to that list. WWE announced that former Women’s Champion Beth Phoenix will be honored during WrestleMania weekend in Orlando.

The powerful female known as “The Glamazon” dominated the company’s Women’s Division during her tenure. She held the distinction of being one of the only females to enter the Royal Rumble match, with the other previously being Chyna. She even scored an elimination, pulling The Great Khali over the top rope in 2010, taking him out of the match.

She is a three-time Women’s Champion, as well as former Divas Champion. Not the typical “swimsuit model” female, unlike some of the other WWE ladies, she redefined women’s wrestling. Superstars like Beth and Natalya Neidhart are two of the biggest influences for women’s wrestling in the last few years, getting away from the Divas division.

Since her retirement, she has married fellow WWE Hall of Fame inductee Adam “Edge” Copeland, and two have become parents. It’s a huge change from the WWE lifestyle, but in various interviews and appearances since her departure, it’s been the right decision for her.

And now, WWE will make a decision of their own by inducting her into the Hall of Fame. Her induction will happen on Friday, March 31, at the Amway Center in Orlando.
