4. Offensive Line

The Green Bay Packers might have to address their offensive line in free agency. Their number one priority this offseason should be to lock up guard T.J. Lang. He’s an extremely important part of their offensive line and they can’t afford to lose him. But what if they do lose Lang to another team in free agency?

Free agency is filled with some interesting replacements for him. Kevin Zeitler would be the best immediate replacement. Pro Football Focus gave him an 87.1 grade in 2016 compared to Lang’s 87.0.

"Zeitler has allowed just one sack over the past two seasons, and recorded the fifth-highest pass-blocking efficiency among guards in 2016."

If Green Bay wants a value option, Larry Warford could be one. Perhaps a change in coaching helps him. Another free agent the Packers will need to keep is center J.C. Tretter. Sure, he has trouble staying on the field. But when he’s on it, he’s pretty darn good. You keep a guy like him and you hope he can stay healthy. Still, the Packers need to get someone else to serve as his backup. A.Q. Shipley could serve nicely in this role. Shipley has been solid wherever he has gone in his career.
