2. Pass Rush

A huge reason why the Green Bay Packers lost to the Atlanta Falcons and nearly lost to the Dallas Cowboys was their lack of a pass rush. Of course, getting a healthy Clay Matthews back in 2017 could change everything. Perhaps no move would help them as much as getting him healthy.

The Green Bay Packers should consider re-signing Nick Perry. He had a breakout year in 2016, leading the team with 11.5 sacks. However, Perry was at best average before 2016, so that needs to be taken into consideration. If they can keep him at a reasonable price, they should. However, if he starts demanding a lot of money, maybe they should let him go and replace him.

Replacing Perry might be the way to go. Chandler Jones would probably be the best target.

"It seemed like Jones didn’t get as much publicity this year in Arizona, but he actually had his most productive year of his career. He earned career-high grades in overall and pass-rushing grades, as well as 66 total pressures in the regular season. His 87.4 overall grade ranked seventh among edge defenders, just behind [Melvin Ingram]."

Jabaal Shaard is another guy who could help the Packers. He has versatility on his side, as the Patriots lined him up just about everywhere.
