4. New Orleans Saints

New Orleans Saints head coach Sean Payton knows what his team needs to add defensively this offseason. Payton wants pass-rushers, something he recently made clear to SiriusXM NFL Radio:

Payton was right to single out Cameron Jordan as a special talent. He’s the kind of disruptive force a mean defensive front gets built around. But No. 94 can’t do it all by himself, so a roving piece like Sheard would make an excellent bookend in the Big Easy.

Like Jordan, Sheard can line up in multiple spots, but he’s often at his best over right tackle. With Jordan on the other side, Sheard would give the Saints the kind of pressure potential they haven’t shown since 2013 when Jordan and Co. recorded 49 sacks, per Pro-Football-Reference.com.
