8. Can Myles Garrett clinch the top spot in the draft?

If you look across the mock draft boards, one name has been on every single one of them since the start of the 2016-17 college football season and that’s Myles Garrett from Texas A&M. He meets all the marks of what you’d consider a top draft pick. Great build, a raw talent that’s just now tapping into his potential.

One of the many knocks on Garrett was that he took more than a few plays off during the season and didn’t have the best showing against Kansas State in the Texas Bowl. If he blows all of the counts away at the combine like many expect, he will b the first name off the board in April.

7. Fournette and McCaffrey reintroduce themselves at combine

At the start of their final seasons in college, both Leonard Fournette and Christian McCaffery were both at the top of most Heisman lists. By midseason, both were on another list—the injury list. Although they both had a chance to cap off their careers by playing in bowl games, they declined.

The combine will be the first time that we’ve seen them since the season. Both are projected to be first round picks but it will still be a good opportunity for each to showcase just why they are among the best running backs among the 2017 draft class.
