Jack Doyle: 5 best fits in NFL free agency
1. Indianapolis Colts
At the end of the day, the best bet is that the Colts will be looking to retain Doyle. They do have Dwayne Allen and he is signed to a long-term deal, but they saw for themselves that Doyle was a better option moving forward, and the new management cannot think that they should want to move forward.
The team would likely be hoping for him to come back. They can run that two tight-end sets that they wouldn’t be able to without Doyle in the fold. They may even move on from Allen, in an attempt to save a little over $2 million to give to Doyle. Either way, it is hard to see that Doyle will not be wanted back in Indianapolis.

It is also hard to see that he would not want to be back. He seemed to be revered by the fanbase and has a quarterback in Andrew Luck who already has chemistry and a connection with him. It looks like a great fit overall, and at the Colts should have the cap space to give him a fair and reasonable deal. The Colts should be able to bring back Doyle for the long term this offseason.
