2017 NFL Mock Draft: Bears tap Deshaun Watson
By Brad Weiss
The Buffalo Bills have a huge decision to make within the next two weeks, as they have to decide whether or not to pick up quarterback Tyrod Taylor’s huge option. The team has not made a decision on who will be their man under center next season, and new head coach Sean McDermott is going to have to figure that out early in camp. With Rex Ryan gone, the Bills should have better discipline next season, as McDermott bring a no-nonsense attitude as the new man in charge.
No matter who is under center next season, the Bills need to bring in another impact player on offense. LeSean McCoy may be out as the team’s starting running back, and wide receiver Sammy Watkins has yet to prove that he can stay healthy enough to be a consistent contributor. Mike Williams of the Clemson Tigers proved during his time with the team that he is the best wideout in this draft, and the Bills should grab him if he is still available at No. 10.
Williams was a beast during the Tigers National Championship victory, playing with what definitely looked like a concussion for most of the game. That did not stop Williams from making big catch, after big catch, and in the end, he would wind up with eight catches for 94 yards and a touchdown. His gritty play on the field will definitely play well in Buffalo, where the fans are desperate to get back to the playoffs for the first time since 1999.
