Quincy Wilson

CB, Florida

The Seattle Seahawks once again were in the playoffs last season, as they won the NFC West by a wide margin. However, the Seahawks would not make their third trip to the Super Bowl in the last four years, as they were destroyed by the Green Bay Packers in the Divisional Round. The Seahawks showed some big holes in their secondary against Aaron Rodgers, who basically was able to do whatever he wanted with them in the Packers 38-10 victory.

Fast forward to next season, and the Seahawks should be strong once again in the defensive backfield. Safety Earl Thomas was injured for the Green Bay game, and he has already stated that he will be back next season. Richard Sherman looked terrible against the Packers, but head coach Pete Carroll later stated he was dealing with an MCL issue.

Still, Seattle needs to add depth to the defensive backfield, and Quincy Wilson from Florida is one of the better cornerbacks in the draft class. Wilson teamed with Teez Tabor to form the best cornerback tandem in the SEC, which is regularly the best conference in college football. He will team nicely with Sherman in the Seattle secondary next season, adding to the already impressive Legion of Boom.
