Still looking for a win against him, Brock Lesnar sent a message to his WrestleMania 33 opponent with a massive F5 to Goldberg on WWE RAW

Goldberg and Brock Lesnar started off their feud truthfully in the most shocking way imaginable. Booked against one another in the main event of WWE Survivor Series 2016, the returning WCW legend squashed The Beast Incarnate in a matter of a couple minutes. Since then, Goldberg has simply had the upper hand over Lesnar, including eliminating him from the 2017 Royal Rumble Match. However, it’s all leading to one more chance at redemption for Lesnar at WrestleMania 33.

After defeating Kevin Owens at WWE Fastlane on Sunday night, Goldberg captured the WWE Universal Championship. Subsequently, the belt will be on the line when they face off at WrestleMania. Of course, they weren’t going to wait until they got to Orlando to go face-to-face. Instead, they wasted little time by getting in the ring together on WWE RAW the night after Fastlane.

The newly crowned champion was out first, but Paul Heyman and Brock Lesnar weren’t far behind. Though things seemed to be tense, the two behemoths remained civil to begin. Lesnar even extended his hand out to his Mania opponent—but the pleasantries were all a ruse. As soon as he saw an opening, Lesnar delivered a loud, clear message by hoisting up Goldberg and hitting a massive F-5:

Goldberg probably should have known better; Brock Lesnar has never been one to play nice.

Though we’ve yet to see Goldberg in a match longer than your average commercial, this feud is being built exceptionally well. It once would’ve seemed impossible to make Lesnar look like an underdog looking for redemption, but WWE has managed to do just that over the past few months. Let’s just hope it pays off adequately in Orlando for WrestleMania 33.
