Reuben Foster

Linebacker, Alabama Crimson Tide

Let’s be real. Reuben Foster is still probably going to be the first inside linebacker drafted this spring. He was an absolute stud the last two years for the Alabama Crimson Tide. It also helps that Vanderbilt’s Zach Cunningham didn’t set the combine on fire either.

However, Foster was asked to leave Indianapolis two days early due to an incident involving a hospital worker. Foster has developing a bit of a reputation as a guy that doesn’t care what he says. For a player of his caliber, he was really petty in victory when talking about beating the Washington Huskies in the Chick-Fil-A Peach Bowl.

This latest incident brings to light more questions about his character. On the field, Foster’s got it. It’s really undeniable. That being said, can he be trusted to wear the green dot on defense at the next level?

He may be the best inside linebacker in this draft class, but he pretty much got himself kicked out of his biggest job interview halfway through. Sure, he can put together an amazing pro day, but his premature departure from Indianapolis might take him off some teams’ boards entirely.
